| **Note 48** | Function IDs ‘P’ and ‘Q’ are used to print statements on the statement printer when the printer flag in the Transaction Reply is ‘8’ or sideways on the receipt printer when the printer flag is ‘=’. The action taken on a Print Immediate command depends on when it is received and the contents of the next state ID field. |

| **Note 48** | Diebold mode is not supported, therefore Advance NDC operation is different from NDC+. In Advance NDC, an envelope is always dispensed on execution of the transaction reply if an envelope has not previously been dispensed through the execution of the Envelope Dispenser State. |
